Think "ALT"
We could say "Alt-Left" and we could say "Alt-Right" and that's fine because 'ALT' is shorthand for ALTER....I think.
I've been hearing this word on and off again for awhile now thrown around. Still, I don't know yet its proper usage. It's high time someone thought about it. Might as well be me and today is as good as any.
Let's assume 'ALT' stands for "alter".
'ALTER' according to Webster means:

I find it interesting that phonetically speaking, another word comes to mind carrying much different connotations. This word is ALTAR and citing Webster again, it is defined as:

Could it be we haven't asked ourselves how much is sacrificed in translation because of phonetics alternating in the mind outside of context?
I don't know which is it and have always wondered if I myself offer undue precedence at the cost of something else.
Either way, what thinks me is that we can find "ALTARNATIVES" if and when people start looking for the "win-win".
I'm looking for that here. For alternatives and altarnatives.
Normally I don't go through and list current events. I tend to reflect on them and think: "what's the what when, why, where, and who?" Then tackle how from there.
I'm finding though that after seeing the news today it might be best to present an idea outside of normalized social media channels and in detail. Obvious reason number one: Candace Owens; embedded link below.
What is going on here is that this is happening. She is being attacked with sound waves and she wished to be to be seen in this light. Both are simultaneously true and neither deserve to be intentionally provoked?
Why else would an oppressed person who is being victimized be so inflammatory? As in speaking into a person's ear with a megaphone? Or still the same who desires to be so instigating to a highly combustible, volatile, and verbally abusive crowd?
Unless.... they were each, in some way, benefiting from the exchange.
Therefore this is symbiotic ultimately and the symbolism is that of a snake eating its tail.
Obvious example number two: Alex Jones
I can't ever listen to the guy without my head wanting to explode and I'm never going to buy any of his supplements but does the rug need to be pulled out from underneath him from speaking crazy? Or, who is telling the guy on the sidewalk with the "end is nigh" sign he can't believe in revelations?
That's why I ask:
What is the difference between buying in and selling out?
Can you entertain an idea without accepting it? Maybe take it out for sushi or ballroom dancing. A movie? These are questions I must ask before listening to anyone. Even myself.
I hope you do as well.
Find an ALTARNATIVE.
